Your tutor will be our very own Harriet, who completed her masters degree at Central Saint Martins in 2014, after graduating with a first class honours degree from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2012. She has lectured and taught in London and Scarborough. She draws inspiration for her work from the nature that surrounds her at Into The Glade. The workshops will be run from the Into The Glade Studio which is about 5 minute walk from North Hut.
We have carefully curated hampers sampling the best of our own produce from here at Into The Glade or made locally by our favourite suppliers.
For any creative folk staying at North Hut, there is an artist’s studio available for hire for those who want additional space to create. Take inspiration from the beautiful surroundings and make use of the Into The Glade Studio. You’ll find some basic art equipment such as a table easel, painting board for A3 paper, cutting mat, water container, palette, masking tape. Your suggestions of what else could be provided are most welcome.
If you travel from abroad you may want to order art and craft supplies from a good UK supplier beforehand. I’ll make sure your materials are at the studio for when you arrive. ‘I had a wonderful time at Into The Glade Studio where everything I wanted or needed was supplied to me. The experience of being in a beautiful location as well as being comfortable in the studio, with lots of Yorkshire Tea, made for a wonderful time.’
